We offer exciting Bachelor and Master programs. Check them out HERE.

  1. Start collecting your documents for the application process

For further information on the documents that make you eligible to study at a Hungarian university, check the Document Checklist below. Documents that are not in English (or Hungarian) must be translated and certified by the translator or a notary.

  2. Apply for the program

We offer programs in the field of engineering, IT and horticulture, so take your chance and start applying as soon as you can in order to catch the deadline for the next intake. To start your application, please register here.

  3. Submit your application

Once you have submitted an application with all the necessary (original and translated) copies of documents and met the admission requirements, you will be invited for an online interview. Submitting your application is a prerequisite for an application to be processed.

  4. Online interview and test

Your performance will be evaluated by a team of admission specialists. Neither the entrance exam nor the tests can be retaken so we advise you to prepare properly for the interview. They’ll assess your level of English, and ask about your motivations, so think about why you want to study your chosen study program and look up a few things about Hungary as well. The test depends on the study program you have chosen. This test consists of four tasks that require high school-level Maths knowledge.

  5. Conditional acceptance letter (CAL) – You are accepted

Applicants who have fulfilled the admission requirements of the university and the program they have chosen will get an official conditional offer with the details of the program, payment and deadlines. Please note that possessing a conditional letter does not yet entitle you to submit a visa application to enter Hungary. To turn your Conditional Offer letter to a Final Acceptance Letter, you need to pay the first year’s tuition fee and some minor fees as well (just as health insurance and housing).

  6. Final acceptance letter (FAL) – transfer the fees: tuition fee, application fee and other service fees

Applicants are required to transfer the tuition fee of the first two semesters and the application fee of EUR 150. Please note that the application fee is non-refundable. Optional service charges are the visa assistance fee, health insurance fee and the fee of dormitory placement. Please note that we have restricted number of dormitory places so in case you need accommodation, let us know as soon as you can.

  7. Start the visa procedure

After you have transferred the fees, the final acceptance letter will be issued and sent you by post. Having received your acceptance letter, you can submit an application for a D-type visa (study visa) at the nearest Hungarian Embassy.

  8. Arrive in Hungary

With your visa in hand, you can start planning your journey and your life in Hungary.
