ANNOUNCES A CALL FOR APPLICATION FOR
short- and long-term student mobilities
for the autumn, spring semester of the 2025/2026 academic year
Eligible activities
Student mobilities
Student mobilities (bachelor, master, doctoral level):
- Mobility for study purposes (2-12 months) (active student status required)
- Traineeship (active student status required) and recent graduate traineeship (apply before graduation)(2-12 months)
- Mobility for research purposes (2-3 months): exclusively at master's, undivided and doctoral level; with a minimum of 7 completed semesters in the case of undivided training
Short-term student mobilities (bachelor, master, doctoral level):
- Mobility for study purposes (2-30 days) (active student status required) E.g. active conference participation, student gives a lecture or holds a workshop within the framework of the conference, participation in summer university
- Mobility for research purposes (2-30 days): exclusively at master's and doctoral level; with a minimum of 7 completed semesters in the case of undivided training
Each period of study abroad, including the professional internship, must be part of the student's study program aimed at obtaining a diploma within the framework of any study cycle.
The same student may participate in a mobility period lasting up to a total of 12 months per study cycle, regardless of the number and type of mobility activities.

Scholarships
Long-term:
- 2-12 months: 400.000/375.000/350.000 HUF/month (depending on the target countries)
Concerning short-term mobility (depending on the target countries):
In case of bachelor, master education:
- 1-10 days: 30.000/27.500/25.000 HUF/day
- 11-20 days: 20.000/17.500/15.000 HUF/day
- 21-30 days: 10.000/7.500/5.000 HUF/day
For doctoral studies:
- 1-10 days: 35.000/32.500/30.000 HUF/day
- 11-20 days: 25.000/22.500/20.000 HUF/day
- 21-30 days: 15.000/12.500/10.000 HUF/day
Application information
1. Eligibility of applicants
Student mobilities: only enrolled and active students of the John von Neumann University can apply. Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship students can only submit applications for participation in short-term project events.
2. Eligible countries and partner institutions
With the support of the Pannónia scholarship program, support can be applied for in any country in the world, if the John von Neumann University has entered into a cooperation agreement with the universities. In the case of professional internships, training and research scholarships, mobilities can also be granted by non-higher education institutions (e.g. companies), in which case an inter-institutional agreement is not required.
3. Application conditions
- The student is a Hungarian citizen or is studying for a diploma at the institution.
- Students must have an active student status during both the application and mobility periods.
- A content-agreed, written study contract must be signed before starting studies abroad.
- At the end of the study period, the foreign host institution must issue a certificate of the completed study program and results.
Only the period when the student stays at the host institution is considered supported mobility, regardless of whether he participates in face-to-face, online or hybrid education according to the host institution's current regulations. Online courses taken while staying at home and to be completed at the host institution are not considered eligible for mobility, and mobility support cannot be paid for them.
