A Historic Milestone at John von Neumann University: The First Doctoral Graduates Were Conferred Their Degrees

On June 19, 2026, the CAMPUS of John von Neumann University hosted an exceptional ceremony of historic significance. This was the first time the institution had held a doctoral graduation ceremony, which marked not only a milestone in the history of the Doctoral School of Management and Organizational Sciences but also a defining moment for the entire university community, the field of economics, and the city of Kecskemét.

International Doctoral Mobility in Madrid – Research and Networking in the Field of Agricultural Innovation

As a student at the Doctoral School of Management and Organizational Sciences at Neumann János University, I participated in a one-month international mobility program in March 2026 in Madrid, within the academic environment of the Business and Territorial Competitiveness, Innovation and Sustainability program at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas (Comillas ICADE). This professional and academic visit was closely linked to my doctoral research, which examines the international practices of Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation Systems (AKIS).

Her research focuses on international migration, immigrant entrepreneurship, labour market integration, sustainability, and gender dynamics in entrepreneurship. Her work particularly explores how migration, entrepreneurship, and institutional structures interact to shape economic inclusion, social mobility, and sustainable development.
