As a student at the Doctoral School of Management and Organizational Sciences at Neumann János University, I participated in a one-month international mobility program in March 2026 in Madrid, within the academic environment of the Business and Territorial Competitiveness, Innovation and Sustainability program at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas (Comillas ICADE). This professional and academic visit was closely linked to my doctoral research, which examines the international practices of Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation Systems (AKIS).

During this mobility, I had the opportunity to analyze the role of agricultural advisory services, interactive innovation, and digital solutions in an international context, as well as to identify best practices that can be applied in the domestic system. During my research, I received outstanding professional support from the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food, which actively contributed to the preparation and implementation of the research work. One of the most important outcomes of the program was the conduct of in-depth interviews with Spanish advisors. The interviews provided valuable empirical insights into the functioning of innovation processes and professional competencies, thereby significantly strengthening the international comparative dimension of the doctoral research.
Another important benefit of the mobility was the strengthening of international research collaborations. In addition to the Spanish connections, the professional relationship established with Brazilian doctoral student Ana Clara Fonseca do Amaral is noteworthy; she specializes in corporate management and accounting, focusing on the study of corporate and financial processes. This professional background complements my doctoral research on the examination of agricultural innovation systems. Overall, the mobility program in Madrid contributed significantly to the progress of my doctoral research, the strengthening of its empirical foundation, and ensuring that the research findings can also be utilized in the development of Hungarian agricultural knowledge transfer and innovation practices.
