The Neumann János University Doctoral School of Management and Organizational Sciences held its second and third public doctoral defenses on November 26 and December 10, 2025, at the university's Budapest campus (1117 Budapest Infopark sétány 1.).

At the public defenses, two doctoral candidates, Botond Benedek Semjén and Sára Farkas, presented the results of their research work spanning several years. The examination committees awarded their work summa cum laude. The event was attended by a large number of doctoral students and their supervisors, as well as experts from other educational institutions and practical fields. The research presented dealt with the evaluation of different controlling patterns in companies operating in the adult stage, presenting the economic and cultural contexts of controlling development trends and the related decision-supporting factors. On the other hand, they used fuzzy logic to evaluate the intermediary system for repayable subsidies in the performance efficiency analysis of European grant projects.

With the completion of these doctoral projects, the Doctoral School of Management and Organizational Sciences at Neumann János University has once again demonstrated the growing role of practice-oriented and innovation-driven research tailored to economic and social challenges.
