The event of HUMDA Hungarian Mobility Development Agency Zrt. on 20 March 2024, which took place in the Neumann János University Campus building, was a great success. With the cooperation of the organization, pilot experiments with hydrogen fuel cell buses are being conducted in various cities of the country, and in March the population of Kecskemét can test a Solaris hydrogen bus. In the morning experts presented the latest developments in hydrogen energy in Hungary, the hydrogen policy of the city of Kecskemét was outlined and the challenges of the hydrogen-based transport were discussed. In the afternoon, high school students were invited to a career orientation day and there was opportunity to get to know the hydrogen buses, too. Dávid Kis represented the Hydrogen Technology Knowledge Centre during both stages of the event.
