Following the resumption of Phase II of the CAMPUS project in Kecskemét, WEPMARK Kft., the company overseeing the real estate development, organized a site tour. The event, which was closed to the press, was attended by leaders of John von Neumann University and the Foundation of John von Neumann University, representatives of the city of Kecskemét, several members of the city council, and a representative of the Ministry of Transportation and Investment.

At the beginning of the program, participants received a comprehensive briefing on the background of the development, its current status, and the main construction schedule for the next ten months. They were shown renderings of the project, the planned functions of each building, as well as the possibilities offered by the outdoor areas and the associated infrastructure.

Following the briefing, guests were able to tour the construction site in person. They viewed the already furnished model dorm rooms, which provided a firsthand look at the design and quality of the student spaces currently under construction. As part of the program, participants were also able to walk across the bridge currently under construction.

The purpose of the site visit was to allow the university, the sponsoring organization, the city, and the partners involved in the project to gain firsthand insight into the progress of the work. The processes demonstrated on site confirmed that construction is proceeding actively, and that adherence to the agreed-upon schedule and deadlines is a top priority throughout the project.

WEPMARK Kft. is participating in the implementation of the CAMPUS II project as the contractor, with the support of the Foundation of John von Neumann University as the owner. The project’s consortium partner is the Ministry of Transport and Investment, and the construction work is being carried out by ZÁÉV Zrt. and FEJÉR-B.Á.L. Zrt.
