In view of the increased number of students, two graduation ceremonies were held on February 20 at the CAMPUS building of Neumann János University in Kecskemét. For the first time this year, international students were also able to receive their diplomas at the institution's event.

In the fall semester of the 2025/2026 academic year, 392 students successfully completed their final exams at Neumann János University. A total of 249 students received their diplomas from the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, 103 from the Faculty of Economics, and 40 from the Faculty of Horticulture and Rural Development.

At the ceremony held by the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Horticulture and Rural Development, Dr. habil. Tamás Fülöp welcomed the students and emphasized in his speech: "In recent years, our university has become a leading center of knowledge and innovation in the region through a great deal of work and systematic development. We have renewed our infrastructure and welcome our students with modern buildings, classrooms, laboratories, and sports facilities. We have developed our talent management and research excellence programs and expanded our corporate partnerships, which allow our students to study new majors and English-language courses and work on real projects while still in university.

Following the rector's welcome speech, József Gaál, deputy mayor of Kecskemét and member of the board of trustees of the Neumann János University Foundation, bid farewell to the students. József Gaál emphasized: "The city of Kecskemét is proud to be home to Neumann János University, which trains future engineers, economics and IT specialists, rural development and horticultural experts, and managers. Many of the region's leading economic and corporate players are graduates of this institution. Currently, they are shaping the future of our region and communities, but in the future, it will be you who will do so."

At the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, Dr. Norberta Sági, Vice-Rector for Education, welcomed the graduates on behalf of the academic leadership and conveyed the message of Dr. habil. Tamás Fülöp, Rector. The cultural program on both occasions was provided by the art teachers of the M. Bodon Pál Elementary School of Arts.

This year, the University celebrated its international graduates for the first time, which is clear evidence that the University of Kecskemét has become increasingly visible in the international higher education arena in recent years. Today, international students come to the institution from more than 20 countries and 3 continents. Neumann János University also stands out in terms of the employment of its graduates, as 80% of its recent graduates already have an employment contract when they leave the university.

Another enrollment period in the life of the institution ended on February 15, and based on the successes and achievements of recent years, another 2,000 students who have chosen Neumann are expected in September.
