At the invitation of the John Neumann University Doctoral School of Management and Business Administration, on 21.10.2025 in Budapest, 1117, Infopark Sétány I building, Prof. Cristina Bianca Pocol. She is Professor at the Department of Animal Production and Food Safety, University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Cluj Napoca, Director of the Doctoral School of Agricultural Engineering Sciences. Her presentation was on Dissemination and exploitation of research results.
In her lecture, she placed great emphasis on increasing the visibility and impact of scientific research. Among other things, she explained the classification of publications and the structural elements of scientific communications. Then she analyzed in detail how to give an excellent oral presentation. There was also talk about designing a scientific poster.
In the second part of the lecture, she emphasized the role of the university in scientific research and innovation, as well as the importance of indicators in research evaluation.
Dissemination and utilization of research results are an integral part of scientific work. The aim of dissemination is to make the knowledge created widely accessible to the scientific community, economic actors and society. This facilitates the integration of research results into scientific discourse, supports further research and innovations, and increases the possibility of scientific collaborations. The dissemination of research results is also facilitated by digital tools: websites, academic platforms, social networks (Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram), podcasts, etc.
The lecture was attended by 24 students, most of the participants were 1st and 2nd year English-speaking PhD students. They were active in comments, questions and expressing their own opinions.
