City Day Gala Honors John von Neumann University Associates!
The prestigious City Day Gala was held on the evening of October 2, 2025, in a ceremonial atmosphere at the Katona József National Theatre in Kecskemét. The event served as a platform to present distinguished city awards and honor recent recipients of state decorations. City leaders personally presented the accolades.
Notably, two staff members from John von Neumann University were among the esteemed awardees.
Kecskemét Sport Award winner: Ádám Járdi, Coach and Manager of the John von Neumann University Sports Centre, and President of the Bács-Kiskun County Handball Association.
Kecskemét Award for Higher Education and Scientific Life winner: Dr. József Berács, a renowned Hungarian economist, marketing researcher, and University Professor at John von Neumann University.
