Chongqing delegation visits JvNU

John von Neumann University recently welcomed a delegation from Chongqing University in China for a pivotal meeting aimed at deepening professional collaboration.

Chongqing University is a prominent institution boasting 7 faculties and a student body of 53,000. Its relationship with JvNU began in 2023, leading to the formal signing of a cooperation agreement in April 2024.

The visit commenced with a warm reception and presentations from John von Neumann University, highlighting its academic programs, research capabilities, and potential international collaboration opportunities. Subsequently, the Chinese delegation introduced their university and elaborated on the existing partnership between John von Neumann University and Chongqing University. A significant outcome of the visit was the initiation of collaboration in the crucial fields of hydrogen technology and vehicle technology, marking a concrete step towards strengthening their ties.

This productive engagement not only advanced ongoing cooperative efforts but also established a foundation for exploring new avenues of collaboration and forging additional professional partnerships.
