The doctoral school places great emphasis on academic cooperation with other doctoral schools in economics at universities in Hungary (e.g. University of Debrecen, Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Budapest Business School, Corvinus University of Budapest, University of Miskolc, University of Sopron) and abroad (e.g. University of Lodz Doctoral School of Social Sciences, Czestochowa University of Technology Doctoral School). Through these collaborations, a number of renowned national and foreign academics are able to participate in the doctoral school as co-doctoral co-chairs (and also as lecturers), thus further strengthening the institutional excellence of the school. A particular focus is on building close links with the V4 countries' doctoral schools in economics, including PhD student and faculty exchanges.
The DSMBA is seeking admission to the international organisations EDAMBA (European Doctoral Programs Association in Management & Business Administration) and CESEENET (Central and South-East European PhD Network), so that it can actively participate in the collaborative network of European management doctoral schools.
Our doctoral school (together with a Slovak and a Czech University) will co-organize the 12th ICoM (International Conference on Management) international conference in June 2023 (main organizer: Czestochowa University of Technology, Poland) and in 2024 JNU-DSMBA - will be the main organizer of the 13th ICoM conference in Budapest and Kecskemét.
As part of the strengthening of cross-border academic relations, the Doctoral School will be involved in the preparation and implementation of the International Conference on Financial Management to be organised by the Ferenc Rakoczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian College of Higher Education in 2023, and will also contribute to the management of the College's new academic journal with a financial focus.
