The guests were welcomed by Klaudia Szemereyné Pataki, Mayor of Kecskemét, Mónika Ladics, Head of Human Services Office at Mayor’s Office, Dr. habil. Tamás Fülöp Ferenc, Rector of the University, Dr. Zoltán Weltsch, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, and Gréta Gróf, International Coordinator of the University's International Office.
During the visit, the parties discussed the possibilities of future cooperation both with the City of Kecskemét and the University. The delegation was given presentations by the University's leadership on the institution and its ongoing research, internationalisation activities and future plans, which was welcomed with great pleasure by the Ambassador, who expressed his support for the institution. Following the meeting, the delegation toured the Campus Education Building, which was to their satisfaction.
The visit of the Ambassador of Azerbaijan will make a significant contribution to the further development of the University's international relations, both in the short and long term, and will provide an excellent opportunity to establish future cooperation at both city and university level.
